Using Cell-Based Therapies to Shape the Future of HLHS

By suzannerferguson

Here at the Todd and Karen Wanek Family Program for Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, we are working on new ways to delay and prevent heart failure for individuals with hypoplastic left heart syndrome (HLHS). In order to do that, we are studying cell-based treatments, human genetics and advanced imaging techniques along with creating the world's largest biorepository for HLHS patients and families.
